Wine: Off dry. Classic leche and jasmine, but not an overpowering floral nose. This wine contain roughly 10% Riesling grapes. Note that this vintage is the last year that Riesling was added to the Gewurztraminer.
Vineyard: The grapes are at Giant Head Estate on a modified Scott Henry Trellis system. The lower cordon wire provides grapes that contain sufficient levels of acidity in the wine and the upper cordon wire provides the rich exotic ripe flavours.
Winemaking: Crushed and let to sit on the skins for 12-14 hours, pressed and settled for 2 days. Stainless steel fermented, heat & cold stabilized and cold sterile filtered.
